Love Does Not = Compatibility
Loving someone does not always mean that you are supposed to be in a relationship with that person. You can love someone and not be compatible with them. Compatibility is one of the major factors that sustains a relationship past lust. And a lot of times we use love as a crutch to further along a crippled relationship. You use the fact that you love them as the reason you stay in an unhealthy situation. Understand that love alone will not see you through. A healthy relationship requires so much more than just love. Don't be a fool for love, accept the reality that what u want or think u want may not necessarily be the best for you, and keep it moving! #Pow

Take Care of Self
Being selfish sometimes is not always a bad thing. You have to take care of self first, and that means sometimes putting your needs in front of others. The reality is 95% of society do what pleases them first, and sometimes it just happens to correlate with your plans. But when it doesn't, best believe that their needs and desires will supercede yours. You can not run yourself ragged or stretch yourself too thinly trying to please everyone around you. It's unhealthy and it will lead to some serious psychological and emotional issues, which can manifest themselves into real live physical problems. Everyone has their own set of personal responsibilities, issues, and obstacles that they face. If you do not take time to deal with your own problems, how could you believe that you can really help someone elses with theirs?????? Take time everyday to do things that make you happy, regardless to whatever else you have going on your life. No one is going to take care of you and make you a priority like you can. And honestly if the people in your life can't understand that, then they don't love you like they claim they do. Take that as a sign and put their asses on Pause, and then continue to do you. : )

A hoe by any other name...
Before I go in on any topics, I think I should first give a definition for the word hoe.
According to the Urban Dictionary: A Hoe is A skank 2. A woman that is too loose in the booty. 3. Woman or man that will f*ck anything with two legs. 4. A promiscuous person; syn: slut.
However, the term hoe is used loosely in the urban community and can be applied in a variety of situations. Usually the preceding pronoun will provide a contextual clue to which version of the word hoe, the user is referring to.
Case#1: A hoe... Promiscuous Person
Example: She/He is "A Hoe"
Case#2: My hoe... this may not be referring to a promiscuous person. The possessive pronoun "My" indicates that this may be a person that said user is engaging in a sexual relationship with. Usually the term "My Hoe" refers to a person who comes through late at night or whenever to engage in sexual activities with said user, and that is the extent of the relationship.
Example: She/He is not my boo, they're just "My Hoe".
Case#3: Hoes... A general term used by one sex to refer to a group of the opposite sex, who usually share the quality of not being monogamous relationship worthy.
Example: Hoes Ain't Shit.
Throughout this blog, many varieties of the word hoe will be used. Mainly the case #3, where it is a general term referring to those that are not monogamous relationship worthy.
